Hettie Haines received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, Ms. Haines was an Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Journal of Clinical and Practical Law and served as a member of The Student Intellectual Property Association. During her last year of law school, she completed an internship program at Dobrusin and Thennisch – an intellectual property firm in Pontiac, Michigan.
After practicing law for several years, Ms. Haines enrolled in, and completed, the electrical engineering degree program at Arizona State University in order to further her career as an intellectual property attorney. During that time she also worked for ON Semiconductor in the Intellectual Property Law Department.
Her legal experience includes intellectual property counseling, assistance with patent preparation and prosecution, trademark prosecution, and patent infringement and claim analysis.
